Whitehouse High School Hosts UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest

WHITEHOUSE — Whitehouse High School had the privilege of hosting the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest last week, welcoming bands from across the region to showcase their skills, discipline, and musicianship developed over the course of the year.

The Wildcat Band delivered an exceptional showing, earning high marks across multiple ensembles.

The Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, and Concert Band each received superior ratings in both stage performance and sight reading. In addition, the Symphonic Band earned an excellent rating on stage and a superior rating in sight reading.

“These achievements are a testament to the dedication, talent, and hard work of our students and directors,” a school representative said. “We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them.”

Whitehouse High School congratulates all Wildcat Band members on their accomplishments and looks forward to their continued success.
