BULLARD- – Not so much a rebuilding year as expected with only three seniors, and a brand new, first year head coach, the Panthers are gonna be hard to handle again next year.

Senior Dylan Fowler won Defensive Player of the Year at the BHS Sports Banquet
As undefeated district champion, and regional semi-finalist, the 2025 baseball team celebrated the season at the annual Baseball Banquet, this past Thursday night, at Cavensars Complex.
Head Coach Chad Sherman was in charge as he awarded individual District Awards, and the Team accolades.
There were three seniors honored, that all will be sorely missed. Among them, Team Captain, Dylan Fowler.
Fowler earned the Defensive POY playing first base, catcher, pitcher and a few games at third base.
Fowler was a steady with the leather whether it be first base, the hot corners, or off the mound.
At the plate Fowler did his fair share of damage batting at a .299 clip, .429 OBP, three doubles, and a homer. Fowler drove in 17 runs, scoring 11 tuns.
Mostly in relief duty on the bump, Fowler had a 1.757 ERA.
Taking Co- Most Valuable Players were juniors, Kage Korenek and Ethan Foster.
Korenek led the team with a .394 batting average, with 12 doubles, four triples, knocking in 15 runs, scoring 12 runs. The lefty pitcher Korenek held down a stellar 1.607 ERA pitching.
Foster was voted First Team pitcher and added a .387 on-base percentage with 23 hits, two doubles, four sacrifices, scoring 21 runs and knocking on seven.
The right on the hill held down a steady 1.676 ERA.
Junior, Ty Rigsby was named Offensive Player of the Year after finishing the year with a .344 average and a .526 on-base percentage. Add a .591 slugging percentage , ripping 12 doubles, four triples, and a round-tripper, scoring 34 runs out of his lead-off position, he knocked in 17 runs.
Most Improved Player of the Year was junior Jackson Holt.
A steady at shortstop when not pitching, Holt plugged a big hole, for the Panthers with a solid year on the mound, plus a vital cog in the surprise season, adding .348 OBP, 27 hits, three doubles, and a homer, with 11 runs scored, and 17 RBIs. Pitching, Holt was All District posting a 1.29 ERA.
Add these four superlatives to returning starters, Tannon and Tate Wynne, Gage Alderman, Atley Jones, Bryce Roberts, Tucker Stainback, and Luke Alexander are a great start for 2026.
