FRANKSTON – The 20-2A baseball crown went to an undefeated Kerens Bobcats in 2025 baseball action. Kerens lost in the playoffs to Beckville in two-game sweep at Bi- District.
Now that the Frankston three-round run has ended, All District Superlatives and Selections were released this week.
The Bobcats (20-5; 12-0), twin senior brothers, Kannon and Krayton Ritchie shared the Most Valuable Player award.
Frankston’s Indians took second-place, yet got hot when it mattered in the playoffs.
The Indians (23-8; 10-2), made a playoff run deep into the final 16 teams, until Shelbyville took the Indians in a two- game sweep at regional semi- finals.
Frankston’s Carson Bizzell was named Offensive MVP, and five Indians players earning First Team honors.
Senior Carson Allen was named as pitcher; Juniors, Tristan McCoy, and Ayden Lewis, along Tucker Palmer were first-team Infielders.
Junior outfielder, Bradley Gould was the lone Indian on the first squad.
Frankston had three players on the second-team.
Junior Infielder, Levi White, and Outfielder teammates Senior,
Tim Ryals, Sophomore, Lucas Bizzell, and freshman phenom Brenson Bacon.
Mildred (14-9; 7-5), took third- place with two District Superlatives, Pitcher of the Year, Noah Garcia, and Newcomer Junior, Charlie Judson.
Mildred lost to Harelton in Bi-District in a one game playoff, 5-1.
Mildred was led by district Pitcher of the Year, Noah Garcia, a sophomore.
The final playoff qualified team from 20-2A was LaPoyner (15-13; 6-6), bowing out in round one to Overton in a one-game, winner take all.
