Cameron J. Jarvis Municipal Troup Library Announces Winners of Inaugural Photo Contest
TROUP, TX — The Cameron J. Jarvis Municipal Troup Library recently hosted its first community photo contest, inviting photographers of all ages to capture the spirit of the 75789 area code. The contest featured three categories: child, adult, and senior, ensuring an opportunity for everyone to showcase their talent behind the lens.
This year’s winners are:
- Child Category: Jimena Arellano
- Adult Category: Kylie Delaney
- Senior Category: Linda Bradley
The contest was open to everyone, regardless of whether they lived within Troup city limits, as long as the submitted photos reflected the 75789 area code. Voting was conducted anonymously, encouraging fair selection based solely on the merit of each photo.
Library staff expressed excitement over the community’s enthusiastic participation and have announced plans to make the photo contest an annual event. It’s another creative way the Troup Library continues to bring people together and celebrate local talent.
