BULLARD — The Tyler Area Builders Association’s 72nd Annual Parade of
Homes™ wrapped up this past weekend, offering East Texans a firsthand look at 32 exceptional homes, including several standout properties located right here in Bullard.
Held June 7 through June 15, the Parade of Homes™ brought thousands of visitors through neighborhoods in Bullard, Tyler, Flint, Frankston, and Chandler. Each home was built or renovated by members of the Tyler Area Builders Association (TABA), with styles ranging from modern minimalist to traditional Southern charm.
The locations in Bullard where loca
l builders showcased a range of premium
features and innovative design elements.
Visitors to Bullard homes
encountered amenities like motorized
blinds, smart home systems, energy-
efficient insulation, and custom cabinetry. Several homes also included luxury
touches such as integrated sound systems, dehumidification systems, and expansive outdoor living areas perfect for entertaining.
A popular stop among Parade-goers was the featured home by Mod+Co Design
Build, which included a split-level first-floor layout, an indoor biophilic garden, custom walnut kitchen cabinets, and a sanctuary-style primary suite. Though located outside Bullard, it set the tone for what many local builders brought to the table: elegant finishes, natural lighting, and seamless indoor-outdoor
transitions.
Interior design trends observed in the Bullard homes leaned toward neutral color palettes with bold black accents, reflecting a modern aesthetic while maintaining warmth and livability. Builders emphasized energy efficiency and functionality, making these homes both beautiful and practical for families in the area.
“We hope the Parade sparked ideas and provided a familiar tradition to enjoy with family and friends,” said Libby Simmons, executive vice president of the Tyler Area Builders Association.
Beyond the design inspiration, the Parade served a larger purpose.
A portion of the proceeds from this year’s event went to support Kingdom Life Academy, North Tyler Academy, and Heart Gallery East Texas.
Those who couldn’t attend in person were encouraged to view the Parade magazine and interactive maps online at www.tylerareabuilders.com or through the TABA Parade app.
