Bullard ISD Prepares for Back to School 2025–26
Bullard ISD is excited to welcome students back for the 2025–26 school year, starting Wednesday, Aug. 13. Families are encouraged to review the following details and resources to ensure a smooth start.
Back to School Events
Aug. 8 – Freshmen Freak Out: Orientation for 9th graders begins at 6 p.m. in the BHS auditorium.
Aug. 8 – Meet the Panthers: Pep rally introducing band, drill team, cheerleaders, and athletes, beginning at 7 p.m. at Panther Stadium.
Aug. 11 – Meet the Teacher: All campuses will host classroom visits from 3–6 p.m., giving families an opportunity to meet staff and prepare for the first day.
Enrollment & Verification
Returning families must complete annual verification, and new students must enroll through Skyward Family Access before schedules or teacher assignments are released.
Parent Communication via ParentSquare
Bullard ISD uses ParentSquare as its district-wide communication system. All guardians must be listed in Skyward in order to receive messages. Parents are encouraged to download the ParentSquare app, while students in grades 6–12 may also use StudentSquare.

School Supply Lists
Updated supply lists are available for Pre-K through high school and can be downloaded by grade level or campus.
Academic Calendar & Bell Schedules
The 2025–26 academic calendar outlines important dates such as holidays, grading periods, and testing schedules. Bell schedules for all grade levels are also available online to help families plan routines.
Core Student Supports & Services
Health & Counseling: Includes physical and mental health screenings, access to counselors, psychologist services, and SEL/bullying prevention programs.
Attendance: Parents can review attendance expectations, absence policies, and truancy protocols in the Student Handbook.
Inclement Weather: Updates will be issued via ParentSquare and district channels in the event of closures or delays.
Nutrition & Online Payments
Meal service information and account access are available through Lunch Money Now, with menus and applications for free or reduced meals posted online.
Technology & Devices
Teachers receive district-issued laptops, and students may request support through campus tech desks. Key systems include Skyward Family Access, Gradebook, ParentSquare, and transportation portals.
Bullard ISD encourages all families to stay connected and make use of the available tools and events to ensure a strong and successful start to the new school year.
