The Bullard Police Department is seeking sponsors for its third annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser, an event aimed at raising funds for critical equipment, technology, and officer training to better serve the community.
Scheduled for Monday, October 20, 2025, at Cherokee Ranch Golf Club in Jacksonville, this year’s tournament promises a day filled with fellowship, golf, great food, prizes, raffles, and more. Organizers are encouraging early registration, as team and individual spots are limited.
“Our department works hard each year to bring meaningful events to our residents,” said Sergeant Tuell of the Bullard Police Department. “This tournament not only helps us fund necessary improvements, but it’s also a great opportunity for the public to get to know the officers who serve and protect them.”
Thanks to support from past tournaments, the department was able to begin purchasing new FLOCK safety cameras and upgrade equipment in one of its patrol units—enhancements that have already made a measurable difference in investigations and crime prevention efforts across Bullard.
The department is offering several sponsorship opportunities, each with benefits and promotional recognition during the event. Sponsors will help cover costs for food, drinks, raffle prizes, and more, while also contributing directly to the department’s mission to maintain a professional and well-equipped force.
“We are excited to host this event once again,” Tuell said. “It’s always a highlight of the year for our officers, and we hope the community will join us in making it another great success.”
