TYLER — East Texas educators are invited to come together for an evening of connection and celebration at the 3rd Annual East Texas Teachers Meet & Greet, set for Tuesday, July 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Grove in Tyler.

Hosted by Whitehouse ISD teachers Wendie Turner and Ashley Poeschl of Stanton-Smith Elementary, the event aims to honor and connect teachers from across the region before the new school year begins. Nearly 200 educators are expected to attend.

“This evening is all about community,” Turner said. “It’s a way to encourage and uplift the people who dedicate their lives to our students every day.”

The event is free and open to all East Texas teachers. Attendees can look forward to a relaxed and welcoming environment designed to foster professional friendships, share ideas, and offer encouragement as a new school year approaches.

The Grove is located at 3500 Old Jacksonville Hwy in Tyler. Organizers encourage guests to RSVP or learn more through the official Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/share/1Vy61VfYc9/.

Local media outlets and community leaders are encouraged to help spread the word through calendars, social media, or community announcements.
