UPDATE: Missing Bullard Teen Abby Grace Morales Located Safe; Suspect in Custody
SMITH COUNTY, Texas (July 30, 2025) — The Smith County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce that Abby Grace Morales, the 15-year-old girl reported missing from the Bullard area on July 26, has been located and is safe. Abby is currently being reunited with her family.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of Smith County Crimes Against Children Investigators, authorities identified an adult male suspect in Abby’s disappearance and tracked his location across state lines. The suspect has been arrested and is facing additional charges in Smith County. Due to the ongoing investigation, further details are being withheld at this time.
Abby was last seen leaving her residence on County Road 173 around 11 p.m. on July 26. She was described as a white (Hispanic) female, 5’7”, 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a gray shirt and shorts. Early information suggested she may have left the residence using Uber.
The Smith County Sheriff’s Office extends its heartfelt gratitude to the citizens and media outlets whose vigilance and cooperation helped bring Abby home safely.
