Brook Hill’s fall athletics season is officially underway as their football and volleyball teams took to the field and court at the stroke of midnight to begin practices for the 2025–2026 season.
The annual midnight practice has become a favorite tradition in Guard Country, marking the official start of the season with energy, excitement, and team spirit. For two nights, players stay in the on-campus boarding houses, creating a camp environment, helping shape team culture and set expectations for the season ahead.
“It’s one of the students’ favorite memories,” said Scott Ryle, Head Football coach. “There’s something special about stepping onto the field or court for the first time at midnight—it sets the tone for the whole season.”
This kickoff to the year blends tradition, camaraderie, and competition, setting the stage for another exciting year for the Brook Hill Guard.
