Smith County Road 172, south of Flint, will be closed at noon today, August 13, as part of the Texas Department of Transportation’s Old Jacksonville Highway widening project.
TxDOT has informed Smith County that the road will be closed for three to four weeks. Message boards with detour information are placed around the area.
