
Several East Texas high school football teams will be in action Friday night, with some looking to rebound from losses and others hoping to stay unbeaten.
Bullard Panthers vs. Liberty-Eylau Leopards — Home, 7:00 p.m.
Bullard (1-2) returns home after a tough 56-6 loss at Sulphur Springs last week. The Panthers will try to regroup and find more consistency on both sides of the ball.
Whitehouse Wildcats @ Paris Wildcats — Away, 7:30 p.m.
Whitehouse (1-2) dropped its second straight game in a 48-17 loss to Tyler Chapel Hill. The Wildcats will aim to bounce back on the road against Paris.
Frankston Indians @ Scurry-Rosser Wildcats — Away, 7:00 p.m.
Frankston (3-0) stayed perfect with a 48-19 win at Grapeland last week. The Indians will look to keep their undefeated run alive in another road test.
Troup Tigers vs. Rusk Eagles — Home, 7:30 p.m.
Troup (2-0) continued its strong start with a 47-35 win over Edgewood last Friday. The Tigers will try to extend their unbeaten record at home against Rusk.
Brook Hill Guard @ Carlisle Indians — Away, 7:00 p.m.
Brook Hill (1-1) fell to Big Sandy last week, 34-14. The Guard will look to bounce back when they visit Carlisle.
Arp Tigers — Bye
Arp (2-0) does not have a game this week. The Tigers are coming off a 21-14 win over Mineola and will use the bye to rest before returning to action.
