BULLARD, Texas — Many Bullard residents have experienced delays in receiving their water bills this month, according to city officials.
Normally, water bills are mailed on the fifth of each month. However, because the fifth fell on a Sunday, bills were sent out on Friday, Oct. 3. City officials said recent U.S. Postal Service delivery delays have caused many of those bills to arrive later than expected.
The city has escalated the issue with the USPS and discussed ongoing postal service concerns with both current and former members of Congress.
In response, Bullard officials said they are exploring additional payment options to improve service for residents.
Current payment options include:
- Auto-draft for automatic monthly payments
- Online payments through the city’s website at bullardtexas.net
- Payments by phone through Bullard City Hall
- In-person payments during regular business hours
City officials thanked residents for their patience as they work to improve billing delivery and reliability.
Residents who have not received their water bill are encouraged to contact Customer Service Specialist Rose Assad at (903) 894-7223 ext. 101 or visit Bullard City Hall, open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
