BULLARD, Texas—Bullard High School sophomore Chloe Morman is making waves in the art world after her piece, Pain of Pulling Away, was chosen for the 2025 National Art Honor Society (NAHS) Juried Exhibition.
Morman, who is enrolled in the school’s Advanced Placement Drawing class, entered her work into the highly competitive NAHS Juried Art Contest. Out of 2,414 submissions nationwide, only 83 pieces were selected by a panel of art educators—making her achievement even more impressive.
The exhibition will go live on March 11 on the National Art Education Association (NAEA) website, where Morman’s work will be displayed alongside other outstanding student artists from across the country. In addition to this honor, she is now eligible to apply for an NAEA scholarship.
This announcement comes as NAEA also celebrates the talent of art educators in its 2024 Member Exhibition, a juried online showcase featuring 82 selected works from teachers and artists worldwide. That exhibition, which highlights submissions from 29 U.S. states as well as Canada, South Korea, and Vietnam, runs from Nov. 19, 2024, through April 25, 2025.
NAEA, the leading professional organization for visual arts educators, supports thousands of teachers, students, and artists each year, including more than 39,000 student members through the National Art Honor Society.
