Bullard, TX – The Bullard ISD Board of Trustees officially named Dr. Micah Dyer as the District’s new Superintendent during a special meeting held on March 17, 2026.
Trustees previously named Dr. Dyer the lone finalist for the position on February 24, 2026. In accordance with state law, a 21-day waiting period was required before a contract could be formally offered. The special meeting on March 17 marked the completion of that required period.
Dr. Dyer’s first day with the District will be March 30, 2026. The District plans to host a welcome reception for Dr. Dyer and his family in April and will share additional details in the coming weeks.
