Frankston Students Celebrate Becoming Published Authors
Students in Mrs. Reynolds’ class at Frankston ISD recently celebrated a major accomplishment after completing the writing process and submitting their mystery stories to Studentreasures Publishing Company. Their work was Bullard ISD Theatre Wins District Championship
Bullard ISD’s theatre production of The Book of Everything earned first place at the district contest, securing the district championship for the program. Several students also received individual recognition for Bullard Middle School Students Serve Community
Student Council and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) members from Bullard Middle School recently participated in a meaningful community service project to spread kindness throughout East Texas. Students were invited to KVNE, a local Christian radio station, to help assemble Valentine’s gift bags for distribution to area hospitals, nursing homes, and children’s hospitals. Working alongside students from several local schools, Bullard Middle School representatives helped stuff Valentine’s bags with items designed to bring.

Their work was officially published, making the students published authors.To commemorate the achievement, the class held a special VIP Day, which stood for “Very Important Published Authors.” During the celebration, each student walked the red carpet to receive a copy of their published book along with a medal recognizing their accomplishment. Some students also participated in author-style interviews as part of the event.Frankston ISD congratulated the students on their hard work and creativity and recognized the support of their VIP Helpers who helped make the day special.

Matthew Reese was named Outstanding Technician, while Shae Quesenberry received an Honorable Mention award. Ava Quesenberry and Beau Flores were both selected for the All-Star Cast, and Dax McCurley was recognized as Best Performer. Bullard ISD celebrated the students’ achievements and congratulated the cast and crew on their successful performance at the district competition.
