The Troup Police Department has welcomed its newest officer, Trey Womack, following his graduation from the Longview Police Academy.
Womack, a 2009 graduate of Troup High School, returns to serve the community where he was raised. Department officials said his decision to begin his law enforcement career in his hometown reflects his dedication to protecting the people and community that helped shape him.
The department described Womack as a hometown hero whose commitment to serving his neighbors, friends, and family embodies the values of professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
