Whitehouse ISD proudly recognized its School Resource Officers in observance of National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day. The district expressed gratitude for the officers’ daily presence on campus and the important role they serve within the Wildcat community.

Through a partnership with the Whitehouse Police Department, School Resource Officers help maintain safe learning environments while also fostering meaningful relationships with students and staff. Their commitment extends beyond security, contributing to a supportive and professional campus atmosphere.

Whitehouse ISD extended appreciation to Officer Bailey, Officer Martin, Officer Bynum, Officer Green, and Officer Minkel for their dedication, professionalism, and continued service to the district.

School Resource Officers serve as mentors, educators, and role models, often engaging with students in classrooms, hallways, and at extracurricular events. By building trust and open lines of communication, they help students feel comfortable seeking guidance or assistance when needed. Their presence also supports proactive safety measures, emergency preparedness, and conflict prevention across campuses.

District leaders noted that the officers’ work strengthens the overall sense of community within Whitehouse ISD. From greeting students in the morning to assisting staff throughout the school day, the officers contribute to a welcoming environment where students can focus on learning and growth.

Whitehouse ISD expressed sincere appreciation for the continued partnership with the Whitehouse Police Department and for the officers’ unwavering commitment to protecting and supporting students, staff, and families. The district encouraged the community to join in recognizing the vital contributions of School Resource Officers, not only on this special day but throughout the entire year.
