Frankston ISD has announced that America Chavez Gomez has been awarded the UT Tyler Honors Scholarship in the amount of $40,000. The scholarship was presented during a surprise ceremony hosted by the UT Tyler Honors College at the Frankston ISD Administration Building, where she was joined by family members, friends, and district administrators.

     To qualify for the scholarship, Chavez Gomez met academic credential requirements, completed multiple essays, and participated in an interview with the Honors Committee. The selection process reflects both academic excellence and personal achievement.

Frankston ISD expressed pride in her accomplishment and recognized the hard work and dedication that led to this milestone. District leaders shared their excitement as she prepares for the next chapter of her academic journey.
