Frankston ISD has announced summer operating hours for its weight room, which will remain in effect through July 31.

The facility will be open on weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and again from 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Weekend hours will be 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The district also reminded users to follow all weight room rules to maintain a safe and positive environment. Eligible community members must reside within the Frankston ISD tax-paying district and be at least 21 years of age. Users are required to sanitize equipment after use, return weights to their proper locations, use spotters when lifting free weights, and refrain from horseplay. Food and beverages are prohibited, except for water.

For safety reasons, small children are not allowed in the facility, and membership provides access only to the weight room, not the gymnasium or locker rooms. Members are responsible for any damages, guest conduct, and replacement costs for lost keycards.
