The Frankston Middle School cheerleading squad returned home with an impressive collection of awards after attending the UCA Cheer Camp at Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine.
The team earned first place in the Sideline Routine, second place in the Cheer Routine, the Most Improved Award, a Spirit Stick, and Blue Ribbon ratings for both its camp and sideline routine evaluations.
Several cheerleaders also received individual recognition for their performances. Arrington Bailey was selected as an All-American Cheerleader, while Adalyn Berryhill, Tatum Gentry, Winter Jackson, Sawyer Lafitte, and Chrisslyn Socia were named All-American nominees.
In addition, Tatum Gentry received the camp’s Pin-It-Forward Award, recognizing her encouragement, leadership, and positive sportsmanship.
Frankston ISD congratulated the squad on its accomplishments and praised the cheerleaders for representing the district with pride, dedication, and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the week-long camp.
