Bullard Lady Panther Softball Head Coach Julie Murry has been named the 2025-26 Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) 1A-2A-3A-4A Softball Coach of the Year, one of the highest honors awarded to high school softball coaches in Texas.
The award recognizes Murry’s outstanding leadership, dedication to student-athletes, and commitment to excellence both on and off the field. Under her direction, the Lady Panther softball program has continued to achieve success while emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, and character development.
Bullard Athletics praised Murry for the positive culture she has built within the program and for the impact she has made on generations of student-athletes. Officials noted that the honor reflects not only competitive success but also the values and standards she instills in her teams.
The Texas Girls Coaches Association annually recognizes coaches who demonstrate exceptional leadership and contribute significantly to the success of girls’ athletics across the state.
