Bobby’s Coffee & Eats held its official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 11:00. The coffee shop is located at 501 W Duval Street, Ste 103. The hours of operation are 6:00 – 4:00 Monday through Friday and 7:00 – 2:00 on Saturdays. Bobby’s featured fun drink options, sales, and specials for the occasion. There were giveaways for those lucky enough to find the four-leaf clovers and pots of gold hidden around the coffee shop and the Hometown Market.

Bobby’s officially opened on February 4 and is owned by Chelsie Warren. She said her father-in-law, Norman Warren, has called her Bobby from the day he met her and that’s how the shop got its name.

Warren said she and her sister-in-law, Kelly Lively, have talked about owning a coffee shop for a while. Warren and her husband bought the building around two and a half years ago. They own the Hometown Market, located in half of the building. Hometown Market is celebrating their one year anniversary and is managed by Paige Everett.

The Warrens studied the market for a while before deciding to open a coffee shop in the other half of the building. Warren said, “It was perfect timing. Kelly’s youngest went to school and I needed her to manage the coffee shop.”

Bobby’s focuses on offering cleaner products for its customers to enjoy. Their coffee syrups are made in house. Fruity syrups for teas are usually purchased and use monkfruit sweetener. There are gluten free baked goods available. Local Tyler pastry chef, Lisa Webb, from the Dough Studio provides the gluten free items. The Darling Dough Co. by Mercedes Doing-Dodge also provides some baked sweets.

Krissi McCollum and her two girls, Jaycee and Allee, came to Bobby’s for the friendly atmosphere and the coffee. Jaycee, a regular patron, said, “I love to study here. It has a fun, local, small town environment.”

Laurel Fields holds a Bible study on Thursday mornings at Bobby’s and all are welcome.

On hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony were Executive Director of Troup Chamber of Commerce, Suzanne Loudamy, and board members Roxanne Nayfa and Barbara Barton. City Councilman Nolan Jeske, also came.

Loudamy said that Bobby’s drive-through for convenience was a big plus and good for the community.

Locals Benjamin and Samantha Walker, Mary Walker, and James Golden stopped by to get coffee and visit before going to a baby shower.

Bobby’s offers fresh coffee, delicious eats, and a real sense of community.
