A student from the Troup Tiger Bands program has earned state-level recognition for musical
excellence. According to information shared by the Troup Tiger Bands on social media, the
student achieved a significant honor by earning placement in a Texas All-State Band.
Jacob Hewitt earned a chair in the ATSSB Texas All-State Band, a notable accomplishment
that reflects a high level of musical performance. Hewitt is scheduled to perform at the Texas
Music Educators Association (TMEA) convention in San Antonio in February, where All-State
musicians from across the state gather to perform.
